A rectangular selection was made, approx. 600x10, and then flood filled with the background pattern. Then the Eye Candy Inner Bevel Filter was applied with the following settings: Bevel width=5, Bevel shape=button, Smoothness=2, Shadow depth=20, Highlight brightness=100, Highlight sharpness=70, Direction=120, Inclination=34. The background color, medium purple, is R173 G123 B189. Paint Shop Pro's buttonize filter was applied with settings: Height=2, Width=2, Opacity=60, and Transparent Edge checked. The text is Nadianne 9pt with a lt purple color, R198 G173 B206. With the text still selected the following two PSP filters were applied: Cutout settings: Fill with interior color unchecked, Shadow with Black, Opacity=100, Blur=1,Vertical=1, Horizontal=1. Drop Shadow settings: Color=White, Opacity=75, Blur=1, Vertical=1, Horizontal=1. The foreground color was set to R198 G173 B206. With the font still selected I applied the Eye Candy filter Swirl with the following settings: Whirlpool spacing=5, Smear length=5, Twist=5, Streak detail=45, and both Warp and Smooth selected. Then the Eye Candy Inner Bevel filter was applied with the following settings: Bevel width=5, Bevel shape=button, Smoothness=2, Shadow depth=20, Highlight brightness=100, Highlight sharpness=70, Direction=120, Inclination=34. All of the above were created using the same technique on a blank canvas, size 100x100. The arrows are all PressWriter Symbol fonts while the word, Home, is Nadianne font. The fonts were left selected and then flood-filled with the background texture. Then the Eye Candy Inner Bevel filter was applied with settings: Bevel width=5, Bevel shape=button, Smoothness=2, Shadow depth=20, Highlight brightness=100, Highlight sharpness=70, Direction=120, Inclination=34.
